It's doing ok,so far. Needs full sun to run at required lift. The filtration system works well, and is cleaning up our ponds water.

There's good and bad about this pump. It looks fine, has all the components needed - a filter, the bio balls etc, but I suspect it's a close copy of a name brand pump but in lighter, cheaper plastic because one of it's main faults is that it fills with air and doesn't sink properly when submerged and keels over like a sinking boat. The balance is all wrong. My solution was to tie it to a bluestone block to weight it down. But that's not ideal. I put the block into a plastic basket to distribute the weight and not harm the pond liner. The other problem is that the fountain riser is not nearly high enough. When the pump sits in any reasonable depth of water, the spray head barely breaks the surface. Once again, had to modify with the tube of an old garden light which was the same diameter and some waterproof tape. So finally, plug the solar panel in (which is ok but could be a bit larger) and when the sun hits it right dead on, hey presto the small fountain spray goes off and looks quite nice. As soon as you get cloud etc or a dull day, it doesn't work at all. So if you have fish in your pond, this is not an option because it doesn't aerate or filter nearly as much as needed. All that said, for the price, and with a bit of tinkering, it works for the purpose I purchased it for - to get a new pond and plants going, so that in the warmer months I can put fish in (with an electric pump that works 24/7).

Product works really well and is fit for purpose. Very happy with product. Only downside is only runs when sun is out as no battery backup and panel must be getting at least 70% sun otherwise doesn't run (quite sensitive with cloud and shade).

This product arrived quickly and undamaged. It has been set up in the garden to promote healthy successful growth of our new hybrid water lily in a large tub. It will aerate the surface and prevent mosquitos from breeding. Plus when the water from the fountain catches the light, it looks pretty. Also because of our hot weather, birds are making use of it to cool down. Good all rounder.

The pump itself did not work from the beginning. The customer service from Wilson however was outstanding hence three stars. I was provided with a full refund in a matter of days. Well done.
