I was thinking this was something quite different to what I received. My fault entirely. It was totally wrong for my application. It wouldn’t drain Kefir milk grains at all. I also didn’t realise that it was 2 whole pieces, I thought perhaps it was one strainer that its mesh was removable for laundering . Not so. another lesson learned. Some things have to be physically seen before buying.

I've been using this for a few weeks now, and i'm surprised to say it actually functions really well. It looks just like the picture. The box was pretty beat up when it arrived, but nothing was damaged inside. If you're short on cupboard space, the base of the spinner can be used as a mxing bowl, and the internal part a colander, which is great for our needs. I wish the lid was also metal or glass, it doesnt seem necessary to be plastic. I would buy this again.
