Unfortunately it did not come with any instructions on how to use the water part. It works fine but obviously the Dyson runs out battery , so only good for small floors. If I knew how to use the water part I would be more happy with this

The motor works fine. However, the hard plastic ring with 4 holes for attachment is not as good as my original which was made of cast. The four screws soon cut the plastic. I have used glue to hold the screws. Also, the length of the motor is slightly increased making it quite difficult to fit into my old vacuum cleaner which is a Fairfax model SCPD6, style VCFX 2. I have managed to fit it with a 4-5 mm cardboard shim to allow the motor to fit inside its case. I do appreciate being able to get a replacement motor as the bearing in the top cradle had failed in the original. Again, thanks. Gordon
