Warning related to electric start generators or auto start for standby applications: All electric start and auto start generators draw a small amount of current from the battery over time. This may lead to a flat battery and subsequent failure of the battery. To ensure the generator starts when required, Genelite recommends connecting a suitable trickle charger or solar charger to the battery. If the generator is to be stored for an extended period, Genelite recommend installing a battery isolator or disconnecting the battery, in addition to connecting the battery to a suitable battery charger. Failure to follow this advice will void any warranty claim related to a flat battery.
