W.E. Hill & Sons 1788 Peg Paste is designed to ease sticking pegs on bowed instruments. This peg paste has been the industry-standard solution for decades and features traditional packaging with a stylish tin and foil design, reducing single-use plastic packaging. Each master carton contains 20 units. To apply, remove the tuning peg from the scroll and clean it. Squeeze out a small amount of peg paste from the tube, peel back the foil as needed, and apply it sparingly to the length of the tuning peg. Reinsert the pegs into the pegbox, tuning them gently while pushing them in to evenly distribute the peg paste inside the peg holes. Turn each peg slowly to ensure smooth movement without sticking. Adjust the amount of paste or wipe off any excess if necessary.
