Introducing Uniden’s latest in smart security cameras, the Guardian App Cam Spotliht+ Full HD Smart security WiFi camera and spotlight in one. Featuring the innovative Thermo Sense Technology the App Cam Spotlight+ uses a smart heat sensor that detects motion from people as opposed to movement from tree and false alarms.
The Thermo Sense feature on the App Cam spotlight+ allows you to receive notifications from actual events giving you the ability to act quickly and call the police when needed. But what makes the spotlight+ so special is the integrated spotlight built into the camera, this is a great deterrent and will automatically turn on when it detects motion or alternatively can be turned on through the smartphone app.
The spotlight+ connects to your WiFi through the SOLO App allowing you to view your camera from your smartphone or tablet from anywhere in the world. With its remote viewing capabilities, instant app push notifications, sound alerts when motion is detected and full HD resolution (1080P) ensuring peace of mind knowing you can watch live footage recordings at anytime and anywhere in the world.
The App Cam spotlight+ is ideal for areas where installation of network cables is difficult. The spotlight+ is the ultimate all-in-one security camera for the home and businesses, it features a two-way talk and siren alert to actively monitor and deter intruders using the free Uniden SOLO app via smartphone or tablet.
This Smart 2 in 1 camera offers outstanding Full HD resolution and quality enhancing efficiency and monitoring capabilities. With its night vision feature you can monitor your properties up to 10 metres in night environments. Users have the ability to two-way talk in real time through the built-in microphone and speaker for easy communication with visitors including couriers, while also acting as a deterrent to intruders. Footage can be stored directly to SD card or the Uniden Cloud ensuring important moments are captured and available for replay when required.
The App Cam Spotlight+ has been designed for Australian and New Zealand weather conditions, protecting against dust and strong rain. * IP65 Weatherproof is defined as no ingress of dust; complete protection against contact (dust tight) and Water projected in jets (6.3mm nozzle) against the enclosure of the camera from any direction shall have no harmful effects.
WiFi range (Distance) is all dependent from your routers capability which will affect your network coverage. If you need to extend your network coverage many third party range extenders are available which improve distance and eliminates black spots. Range Performance is affected by factors such as: full brick walls, tin roofs & large or multi-story houses.
Both smartphone/tablet and the camera will require internet connection for this feature to work.
Minimum Network Bandwidth Requirements: For optimal performance of the smartphone app we advise a minimum network bandwidth of 4Mbps for Full HD (1080P) live stream, 2Mbps for HD (720P) live stream and 0.8Mbps for 352P live stream. If these bandwidth requirements are not met the live stream may not connect and will not be viewable on your smartphone. Motion Detection: Motion detection can be triggered by the PIR sensor in the camera. The PIR sensor only detects objects with heat up to 10 metres away and in the line of sight. At night, or in darkness, monitor motion detection sensitivity is not as effective as in daylight hours, as it relies on night vision capabilities.
