I ordered this inversion machine because it had the reputable Everfit brand name and had good online reviews. It arrived very quickly but the box had holes ripped in it on both sides, obviously due to careless handing by the courier who just left it outside my gate without any phone notification that it had arrived. When I opened the box to check the contents I was surprised that there were so many separate pieces requiring assembly. It took me 4 hours to put it together - the instruction booklet lacked sufficient detail and the listed flat washers required for assembly were not in the box at all. I could only assume that these washers were not actually needed with the type of nuts and bolts supplied, but I will have to contact the company to make sure it is safe and strong without the washers. The device came with a safety belt strap but there was actually nowhere to attach this to. It makes me wonder if the instruction booklet was an outdated version. The rectangular steel tube for the foot rest was simply too wide to fit into the rectangular steel tube of the back support component. The only way I could assemble this part was to completely remove the black plastic liner inside the back rest support frame. Once it was finally assembled it felt quite sturdy and I did test it out. The machine works well and definitely gives stretching relief to an aching lower back. However, the assembly instructions and user manual really need so much more detail. For example I didn’t really understand that slotting the horizontal rear bar at different heights was to limit the possible inversion angle.

The product itself is great, good quality. The only downside is MyDeals use of Couriers Please which usually adds days or in this case nearly two weeks on top of expected delivery.

I purchased this as I have 2 sloped discs S1 and L5. This has also given my sciatica pain which has been debilitating and I’m only 39 and at a healthy weight. I started using it 5 mins a day and increased by a minute each day to 10mins. I can definitely feel a difference and much less pain. Hubby loves it too and he’s been using it for a couple minutes a day to help decompress the spine. We took the shoulder stop off to help give a better stretch too. Highly recommended!

As a female who has never put a flat pack together, it was a challenge for me. However, I did it in 5 hours and I am very happy with it. It is heavy and not something you could fold flat and place under your bed, really need somewhere for it to stand permanently.
