Adorn Cosmetics’ mineral foundations are Australian-approved SPF 20+, offering broad-spectrum UVA and UVB Protection. SPF measures how well a product absorbs or blocks UVB rays. For example, properly applied SPF 30 sunscreen allows you to stay in the sun 30 times longer than without protection while receiving the same level of sunburn. In Australia, cosmetics are regulated by NICNAS. Adorn’s loose mineral foundation’s primary function is coverage, with sun protection as a secondary benefit. Adorn’s foundations are certified broad-spectrum, meaning they protect against both UVA and UVB rays. If sun protection is your main concern, use a primary sunscreen such as Adorn SPF50+ Mineral Face Sunscreen. Always follow the directions for use. Wear protective clothing, a hat, and eyewear when exposed to the sun. Avoid excessive sun exposure. Reapply regularly.
