The Shun Classic collection boasts VG-MAX steel blades clad with Damascus stainless steel which is then ground and bead-blasted resulting in the beautiful pattern of layered steel that makes Shun Knives so unique. The razor sharp blade of the Shun Classic Utility Knife is extremely durable, corrosions resistant, and will stay sharp for much longer than other forged steel Knives. The Shun Classic Utility Knife also features a D-shaped, Pakkawood, ebony handle which is not only comfortable to hold but offers ultimate control as well as being sturdy, perfectly balanced and moisture resistant due to being infused with waterproof resin making it as resilient as plastic. Not only are Shun Classic Knives beautifully crafted but they are extremely functional and razor sharp, a must have for any keen cook.
