Distinguishing Return Types
At Reid, we distinguish between change-of-mind returns and warranty claims to help you understand your rights and options clearly:
Change-of-Mind Returns: For returns due to a change of mind, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and within the specified return period.
Warranty Claims: For returns due to faulty, damaged, or misrepresented products, our policy aligns with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), allowing you to remedy issues within a "reasonable time" based on the product's nature and price.
Return Policy for Online Purchases
Our return policy for online purchases lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we regret that we cannot offer a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.
Ineligible Items: Custom products, sale items, gift cards, and items purchased via click & collect are ineligible for listing on our platform. Please review your listings to ensure compliance with our guidelines. This information should not be included in your return and warranty details.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned:
Clothing: Returns are only accepted if the clothing is unworn, in as-new condition, and with the tags attached. For hygiene reasons, particularly with knicks or shorts, items that have been worn cannot be returned.
Gift Cards: Non-returnable.
How Can I Return Something I Bought Online?
If you purchased an item online, follow these steps to return it:
Message us via the platform.
Provide all necessary details as outlined below.
We will respond within 1 business day with further instructions.
Required Information:
Your order number (found at the top of your order confirmation email).
Your name and address.
A message detailing the reason for the return.
Whether you prefer a refund or exchange.
Partial Refunds: Only granted for items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Can I Return My Product In-Store?
Yes, you can return your item to the Reid Cycles store where you purchased it, along with a copy of your receipt. In-store returns are processed immediately.
Refunds
What is the Refund Process?
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original payment method.
Late or Missing Refunds:
Check all accounts you may have used for the original payment.
Contact your credit card company, as processing times vary.
Contact your bank if necessary.

Can I Return a Sale Item?
Yes, both sale and regular-priced items may be refunded.
Can I Exchange an Item?
If your item is damaged or defective, you can choose to receive a refund or an exchange. If you would like to exchange it for the same item, message us on MyDeal.
Can I Return an Item That Is a Gift?
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.
Can I Change My Mind After Placing an Online Order and Before My Order Arrives?
We will happily assist if you change your mind about your online order before it has left our warehouse. Once the order has been collected by a courier, we cannot make any changes, and the order will be delivered to you. If you want to return/exchange products, follow the standard returns procedure outlined here.

You are responsible for paying the shipping costs unless the item was damaged upon receipt. In such cases, we will cover the shipping costs.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted.
Depending on your location, the time for the exchanged product to reach you may vary.
For items over $75, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
What Is Your Policy on Applying New Promotions/Discounts on Previous Purchases?
If you purchased a product before a promotion/discount was announced, we cannot extend this new offer to you.
If you purchased your product via ‘Click and Collect’ before the announcement but have not collected it until after the promotion, we will provide a gift card for the value of the new offer. Please speak to the Store Manager when collecting.
