We require an Australian street or residential address for all deliveries as we cannot deliver orders to a PO Box. If access is difficult, not to the ground floor, or you require product/s to be carried inside and/ or upstairs, please let us know in advance as additional charges may apply.
Unfortunately, the service and delivery of goods by third party couriers is strictly to ground floor and/ or front door only by a single delivery driver hence you will require to assist driver unload bulky / heavy items from his van / truck. As such, this service does not include:
Carrying product/s inside, upstairs, or in elevators
Placing product/s in rooms
Assembling product/s, and
Removing packaging or wrapping.
that you will be required to organise help from another person and to take furniture from the ground floor and/ or front door inside the residence. Please remember that it is your responsibility to ensure that the packaged product/s will fit through doorways, staircases, and/ or elevators before placing your order.
Tracking information is available for all SK Designer Living deliveries using a courier company, deliveries using our drivers will not have tracking information but these deliveries will be organized in advance and driver will call / text 30 minutes prior to drop.
A person from your end will be required to assist the delivery driver to carry heavy or large bulky product/s to your ground floor and/ or front door. Should you have special requirements, please leave clear instructions in the comments section upon the checkout process.
If your item(s) arrived damaged, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible and provide photo(s) to show the damage. While we encourage prompt reporting, each case will be assessed on an individual basis. Please note, this policy does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
No change of mind, return or refund for clearance items unless deemed faulty; in case of fault, SK Designer Living will provide replacement of the exact item.
All furniture have a 12 month warranty (unless specified otherwise on item description). We warrant all goods under normal usage, to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Inherent colour and wood grain inconsistencies in our organically sourced timber and veneer products are to be expected; colours may vary due to monitor calibration. Imperfections in single piece table tops are evened out using timber fillings. We recommend keeping weather-proof products undercover to increase longevity and protect against harsh climate conditions.
Warranty will not cover normal wear & tear.
SK Designer Living will repair your product if it’s under warranty; you will be required to return the item back to us and we will ship it back to you; all we ask is that you ensure the item is packaged securely.
Caring for Your MDF and Veneer Tables
MDF and veneer tables offer durability and elegance when properly maintained. Here’s how to ensure your tables remain in excellent condition:
Use Coasters: To prevent moisture damage, place coasters or waterproof coverings under drinks. Condensation or steam from beverages can harm the finish, leaving a cloudy appearance.
Utilize Desk Pads: Protect the surface from scratches caused by writing directly on it by using a desk pad during meetings. Leather or fabric pads offer better protection than plastic-backed ones that may stick to the surface.
Clean Spills Immediately: Moisture can weaken the adhesive and cause the veneer to peel. Clean up spills from water, coffee, or other liquids promptly to maintain the table's integrity.
Protect from Sunlight: UV rays from direct sunlight can damage the veneer over time. Use curtains or window film to shield the table from sunlight. If it's placed in a sunny spot, rotate it occasionally to keep the color even.
Cleaning Veneer Tables to keep your MDF and veneer tables in top condition:
Routine Cleaning: Dust the surface weekly to avoid scratches. Use a damp microfiber cloth with warm water, wiping in the direction of the grain, and dry with a clean cloth.
Addressing Grime: For stubborn grime, mix mild soap with warm water and apply with a microfiber cloth. Focus on the affected areas rather than cleaning the entire surface.
What to Avoid When Cleaning Veneer Tables:
To avoid damaging the finish: Ammonia-Based Cleaners These can erode the finish.
Wax Products: Wax can create a cloudy film that is difficult to remove.
Aerosol Cleaners: Especially those containing wax or oil, as they may also cause a cloudy film.
Maintaining Your Veneer Tables In addition to regular cleaning, follow these tips:
Avoid Potted Plants: To prevent water leakage from containers.
Clean Spills Promptly: Use a damp cloth to wipe up spills immediately.
Lift Objects: Instead of dragging items across the surface.
Regularly remove dust and crumbs with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth, and dry the surface with another soft cloth in the direction of the grain to maintain its appearance.
If for any reason whatsoever you are not satisfied, please return in original, unmarked condition and packaging within 7 days for a refund less freight. Return must be arranged prior. Return address will be provided upon approved return.
Please be aware, return shipping cost covered and arranged by customer (to our warehouse). Item/s must be returned in ‘as-new’ condition.
Requirements of ‘as new’ condition are as follows, the item must:
