The VSX-534 comes in a user-friendly design with a 12% slimmer size than the previous model for easy installation. A 4K indicator and Personal Preset and Bluetooth(R) Input buttons on the front panel make it easy to setup. Immerse yourself in enveloping sound with Dolby Atmos and DTS: X(R) audio formats. Even without height or surround speakers, you can still enjoy virtual 3D surround effects with Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer and DTS Virtual: X. Dolby Atmos(R)/Dolby Surround Upmixing

Reproduce object-oriented sound with Dolby Atmos in smooth, curving or realistic, three-dimensional, overhead movements. And with Height Virtualizer, Dolby Atmos creates virtual height effects from traditional speaker layouts without employing additional surround or height speakers.

The VSX-534 is compatible with 3.1.2ch configuration of the latest cinema sound platform, Dolby Atmos(R). You can reproduce object-oriented sound in smooth, curving movements, or the realistic three-dimensional movement overhead by the top speakers. Other audio codecs such as PCM and DSD can be upmixed using Dolby Surround for enjoying 3D surround sound.

DTS:X(R)/DTS Neural:X Upmixing

DTS:X is the next-generation audio codec from DTS that leverages object-based audio to enable new immersive and interactive audio experiences. Since DTS:X can automatically adapt the audio to the existing channels and speaker system, no specific speaker layout is required. Experience an immersive soundscape with incredibly rich and life-like audio. Other audio codecs such as PCM and DSD can be upmixed using DTS Neural:X for enjoying 3D surround sound.

Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization & DTS Virtual:X

When playing any Dolby format, engaging the Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer enables a more immersive listening experience, creating a virtual surround and height effect from traditional speaker layouts without employing additional surround or height speakers.

With DTS Virtual:X, you can enjoy a three-dimensional immersive sound similar to DTS:X, without the need of height or rear speakers. The technology supports 2 to 7.1.4-channel input source, for delivery on 2 to 5.1-channel speaker layout. DTS Virtual:X works with all DTS codecs, including DTS:X.

4K HDR Ready

The VSX-534 supports pass-through for HDR10, HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma), and Dolby Vision signals. By connecting a compatible source device, you can enjoy these latest video standards on a compatible display. What's more, all HDMI terminals support 4K (60p/4:4:4/24-bit), Wide Colour Gamut(BT.2020), and HDCP 2.2, so you will have no problem when upgrading to new devices, and can also enjoy premium content such as 4K videos with digital copy protection.

Smooth & Easy Bluetooth

Whatever audio is playing on your phone, tablet, or PC app can be streamed to the receiver with Bluetooth wireless technology. Once the receiver has paired with and remembered your device, it will start playback automatically whenever it detects an incoming Bluetooth audio stream.

The VSX-534 features A2DP/AVRCP profiles, with support for SBC/AAC codecs. By pressing the Bluetooth button on the front panel, you can directly start up the BT function, even when the unit is in standby.

Customised To You

Create the optimum acoustic environment with Pioneer's MCACC (Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration System), developed with the expertise of professional recording studios. With the custom microphone, the system automatically compensates for differences in speaker size, level and distance, and equalises response.

Personal Presets

Just press the Personal Preset button on the front panel for three seconds; and your current settings, such as volume level and listening mode, can be saved. Up to three presets can be registered and easily recalled from the front panel button or remote control. Make volume adjustments to the range including dialogue in films, with the up/down key on the remote control.

On-Screen Information for Audio/Video Status

The screen display now shows detailed input and output information for the playing content. So you can see whether your video is being output by Dolby Vision, or if the movie is processing Dolby Atmos or DTS:X sound.

Zone B Output for Wireless Headphones

The VSX-534 is equipped with Zone B audio output terminals for expanding the Main Zone sound by connecting your wireless headphone dock. You can listen to the sound playing in the living room via wireless headphones.

Shipping Details

Orders are typically dispatched from our Hallam warehouse (Melbourne, Victoria) within 24 to 48 hours of payment being received, via Australia Post.

Delivery times vary by location, but estimated timeframes are between 2 - 8 business days.

Some items cannot be delivered to PO Box addresses or Parcel Lockers.

Orders which are especially large or heavy must be shipped via courier and will require an address where there is someone available during the day to receive and sign for the items.

Return Policy

Incorrect Item Sent

In the unlikely event you have received an incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt and we will organise delivery of the correct item. We will despatch the correct item to you immediately upon notification of the error. We will then organise the return of the incorrect item to us at no cost to you.

Incorrect Item Ordered

We offer an exchange or refund if you have purchased an incorrect item.

If you've ordered an incorrect item, we will happily exchange it for the correct item or offer a refund for the cost of the item ordered.

Please contact us to organise your exchange within 30 days of receiving the item, and return it to us within 30 days.

Any postage costs incurred from the return of the goods for exchange are the responsibility of the customer. You are also welcome to make returns at any of our stores.

Any difference in price for an exchanged item will need to be paid in full by the customer upon request of the exchange.

We will ship your replacement item as soon as we receive your returned goods.

Unwanted Items

For unwanted items we offer either an exchange or a refund if you change your mind.

If you decide that you do not want the item that you have purchased, then you may return it to us subject to a few conditions:

Please contact us to request the return within 30 days of receiving the item, and return the item to us within 30 days.

Any postage costs incurred from the return of the unwanted item(s) are the responsibility of the customer.

All unwanted items should be returned unused in their original condition, and in the original packaging.

We will not be able to process an exchange or refund until the returned item has been received and processed by our Returns Department.

We do not charge a restocking or handling fee.

Please note: if any item is not returned in original condition, or is returned with any part of the packaging missing, we will not be able to offer an exchange or refund. This includes items that have had shipping labels attached directly to the product packaging.

Warranty

We are either the manufacturer or authorised reseller of all the products listed under our Selby brand name and you can be assured every item is genuine and brand new unless specifically described otherwise. Every product we sell includes at least a 12 month warranty (eg: electrical products) and many of our products include a lifetime warranty. In the rare case that you do experience any problems you can deal directly with us to get any issues resolved.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
