The Morgan Red Oak Jo (also known as a 'Toothpick Jo') has seen recent popularity among martial artists practising the arts of the staff. Ideal for practising, displaying, or demonstrating, this Tapered Red Oak Jo will serve the serious practitioner well. Better used for fluid style training rather than brute force, the tapering means that the red oak hardwood Jo staff is thinner (2cm) at the ends than the centre (3cm), making it light while still feeling solid in your hands. The weight of the red oak Bo Staff is perfect for strength training, especially spinning drills, as it's heavier than many other materials. Perfect for striking, blocking and trapping your opponent.
