The Heat Index is a measure of how hot it really feels when relative humidity is factored in with the actual air temperature. Precautions must be taken to avoid potentially dangerous heat stress during strenuous outdoor activities. Now, with the StrikeAlert HD Field, you can stay informed about current conditions and how they measure up to the four Heat index warning levels.

The USA StrikeAlert HD Field is the only portable lightning detector which monitors heat stress as well as potential lightning danger. StrikeAlert HD Field measures how it really feels when relative humidity is factored with actual temperature. The easy-to-read display shows when conditions become dangerous.

Built on the trusted StrikeAlert technology, StrikeAlert HD Field is the first personal lightning detector with a graphical display that shows you 360 DEGREES the lightning strike distance (from 0 - 40 miles away) as well as a 1-hour storm trend and intensity.

Most other personal lightning detectors offer only 180° tracking, but StrikeAlert HD Field offers complete 360° tracking - in all directions, so there are no blind spots.

You can set the unit to alert you to danger with both an audible and vibrate warning. StrikeAlert HD Field achieves up to 80 hours of operation from two AA batteries.

You can return any product you have purchased from our website (with the exception of software or electronic data products) for a refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase, no matter what the reason. Refunds are available for the value of the goods only, freight or courier costs will not be refunded (both to you and for the return). The product must be returned in its original condition with packaging and invoice. For all returns you must contact us first and receive an RMA form which you must return with the item(s). For a complete refund items must be in original condition, show no signs of wear, and be received back within 30-days from date of shipment. Include all original packaging, accessories (e.g. power adapters, straps, cords etc.) and paperwork (e.g. owner’s manual, warranty card, etc.). You are responsible for the goods until they safely reach our warehouse, as such we recommend taking care when packing items for return to prevent damage. We also recommend you use a reputable courier company who you can make a claim against if your item is lost or damaged in transit. Returns take approximately 7-10 working days to clear and process.

We warrant our products to be free of defects in components and workmanship, under normal use and service, for one year from the date of original purchase. While we and our suppliers make every effort to carefully manufacture our products to the highest standards of quality, occasionally parts may be found to be missing, defective, or damaged. If you have a defective part, return the product to us (the cost of returning the item(s) to us is your cost, the cost of returning the item(s) to you is our cost). Include proof of purchase and a fully completed RMA form. For all warranty claims you must contact us first and receive an RMA form which you must return with the item(s). During the warranty period we will, at our option, either repair or replace the product free of charge. This warranty does not cover damage due to improper installation or use, lightning, negligence, accident, unauthorised service, or to incidental or consequential damages beyond the products themselves. This warranty and obligations hereunder is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of suitability and fitness for a particular purpose. Neither we nor our suppliers will be liable for any consequential damages caused by the failure of our equipment.
