Why I didn't but these earlier remains a mystery. Took a few days to break in, more like my feet getting used to the form, but now really happy with my purchase. Quality is excellent.

I bought the size down as recommended in regular, I seem to be just fitting in, as the edge fold upwards to create a lip all the way around if they were a mm smaller it would be intolerable, the base is uncomfortable for a few days but they do seem to mould and soften, the high arch that follows up the band with foot support is invaluable and seems to keep your foot always aligned, after a week I am comfortable

These were a fantastic sale buy. Price tag said $80 I think & I got them for $15! Bargain. I found them true to size, I got the 8 or 39 & they fit well but if you have a very narrow foot, perhaps order a size down as the straps are roomy. Very fashionable. I got them in Bone colour & can be worn with just about anything. Nice soft PU vinyl they call 'Vegan'. Sole has some flex, not a lot, its a wedge platform sole but I have no problems walking in them but wouldn't probably wear if I had to walk a long way.
