The fragrance makes a pronounced statement as it is long-lasting with a strong sillage. Calice Becker, Yann Vasnier and Rodrigo Flores-Roux all lent their talents to create this remarkable perfume. The top notes are a potent combination of lily, white clove and acacia. The heart of the fragrance explores the floral pleasures of gold pollen, black locust and jasmine. The base notes flow into amber and patchouli. Before she launched her own company, Donna Karan worked as the head designer for Anne Klein. She left in 1984 to create her own brand which she co-founded with her husband Stephan Weiss. In 1989, she founded DKNY, a subsidiary brand which focuses on a younger, more down-to-earth generation of women. While her company is primarily known for its clothing, it also sells handbags, intimates, home accessories, activewear and beauty products.
