Thomas Sabo established his own jewellery company in the 1980’s. With the mushrooming jewellery companies, Thomas Sabo managed to stay on top with his high quality and unique jewellery designs. Sabo decided to employ designer Susanne Kolbli as the company's creative director. The creative thinking duo managed to win over many customers with their extraordinary designs. With the increasing demand for Thomas Sabo jewellery, the Thomas Sabo Company then decided to set up its own retail outlets. The Company managed to open their first exclusive THOMAS SABO stand-alone-shop in Frankfurt. Today the company operates in 247 shops (107 shop-in-shops and 140 stand-alone-shops) across the globe.
