The 8180 SIP Audio Alerter is a SIP compliant PoE network audio device for loud ring and voice paging applications using dual endpoints. When registered with a SIP server, one endpoint will play an audio file from internal memory upon ring detection. The second endpoint will auto-answer for voice paging, complete with two-way talkback.

Equipped with a high efficiency integrated amplifier and tuned high quality loud speaker, the 8180 is typically eight times louder than a telephone speaker. If the optional 1185 Horn Speaker is used, then the 8180 can be twenty times louder. Several audio files are pre-loaded into the 8180 internal memory for ring sounds but users may also record or upload custom audio files, music, sound effects, or voice announcements.

The advanced features of the 8180 include SoundSure technology which automatically adjusts loud ring and paging volume to compensate for background ambient noise. Ideal for variable noise environments (restaurants, workshops, classrooms, etc.), SoundSure ensures that ringing or paging is always heard but not unnecessarily loud.

Outputs for external speaker, slave amplifier, or visual alerter plus multicasting capability enable many more options to enhance notification and alert capabilities. Configuration is possible using the feature buttons or web interface.

CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS

Change of mind returns are accepted within the first 7 days but will incur a 5% restocking fee. Returns within 30 days will attract a 20% restocking fee. The following criteria must be met:

 

  1. The item must be received by us within 7 days of the request.
  2. The item is in the original, sealed packaging with no missing or damaged parts.
  3. The item is not in large quantity (greater than 5 units)
  4. The item value is less than $1,000.
  5. The item is not used in any way.

  • Refunds can only be made to the original account of payment.
  • The customer is responsible for return postage costs
  • Original postage and insurance costs are not refundable.
  • We reserve the right to refuse returned items if the conditions above are not met, a postage fee may also apply.

WARRANTY RETURNS

Products purchased from our store are subject to a standard manufacturer warranty period. If an item is found to be faulty within 14 days, the item will be treated as Dead on Arrival (DOA). Outside of this period, the item will be processed as a standard warranty case. Physical damage is not covered by DOA or warranty.

DOA WARRANTY CLAIMS POLICY

DOA claims are eligible for a refund or replacement, given the following criteria are met -

  1. We are notified of the issue within 14 days of the order date.
  2. The item has been packed back into its original packaging, will all included accessories and documentation.

Please Note:

  • A replacement or refund will be issued after the faulty item has been returned to us.
  • Assessment may apply in some circumstances before a refund or replacement can be issued.

STANDARD WARRANTY CLAIMS POLICY

Items found to be faulty outside of the 14 Days DOA period will be subject to standard warranty terms. Please contact the product's manufacturer for troubleshooting and more details about warranty terms.

Please note:

  • The customer will be responsible for any return postage costs.
  • The processing time is generally 2-3 weeks from when we receive the faulty unit.
  • The claim may result in a repair, new or refurbished replacement, or refund depending on manufacturer approval.
  • The customer should provide their invoice number and item's serial number when contacting us. eBay only keeps a sales history of up to 3 months so we are not able to retrieve order details with eBay usernames after this period.
