The XY-2838 Sponge filter is largest aquarium sponge filter on the market. The new HI-FLOW has been designed by aquarium breeders to give even greater flow and increased filtration for longer periods between maintenance. Its unique design also makes cleaning a breeze.

This Biochemical and mechanical sponge filter will assist in keeping your aquarium clean. The connected air pump (not included) will by pressing air through the core of the filter, create suction. This suction will allow the sponge to capture free floating particles from the water. As a biochemical filter, it will assist in transforming harmful substances by aerobic bacteria, which accumulate in the sponge
