WARRANTY POLICY
1. General Terms and Conditions
Q Furniture guarantees its products are free from defects in workmanship in the warranty period of 12 months from the date of purchase for business use, or 2 years if the product is for household use only.
If your product is covered by this warranty, at our sole discretion, we may replace your product with a new product with equivalent features as determined by us when your product is not economically repairable or repair costs exceed the original purchase price of your product. The replacement product shall be equivalent in specifications of your original product and the cost shall not exceed the original purchase price. Due to changes in our design and production, the replacement product we supply may have a lower selling price or different parts or specifications to your original product. Replacement price differences, if any, will not be refunded.
If a replacement product is not available, we will pay you an amount not exceeding the Original Purchase Price of your Product less any paid repair or service cost/s.
Payment to you or replacement of your product shall constitute fulfillment of this Warranty and will not transfer to a new Product.
2. Proof of Purchase
Please ensure that you keep your original purchase receipt and/or Tax Invoice to validate this Warranty. Failure to provide these documents in the event of a claim makes this Warranty null and void.
3. Service or Replacement during the warranty period
In the event that this product is broken/damaged on arrival, you have 14 days to return the product to Q Furniture's retailer for a new replacement. If you do not return the product within 14 days, then the product will be treated under normal warranty conditions.
Please ensure that the product is properly packaged so as to ensure that no damage occurs to the product during transit. Also make sure you have included an explanation of the problem.
4. This warranty will not apply in the following cases:
This warranty is limited to defects in workmanship. This warranty does not apply to natural characters inside the timber that normal eyes cannot see, nor does it apply to accessories or packaging. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of the Product or parts.
This warranty does not cover any defect caused by an accident, misuse, abuse, improper assembly, lack of reasonable care, loss of parts, tampering or attempted repair by a person not authorized by the distributor, or use of product by a person over the weight or age limits as specified in product description or in the product tags.
The warranty will not apply if damage, malfunction or failure resulting from alterations, accident, misuse, abuse, fire, liquid spillage, maladjustment of customer controls, natural disasters, use of defective or incompatible accessories, exposure to outdoor conditions, damaged by insect, vermin or foreign object in the Product.
This warranty does not cover damage arising during transportation, installation or while moving the Product, or to any transportation costs of the Product or any parts thereof to and from the owner, unless otherwise specified in these warranty conditions.
Q Furniture will not be liable for any loss, damage or alterations to a third party, no matter how occurring; or for any loss or damage arising from loss of use, loss of profits or revenue, or for any resulting indirect or consequential loss or damage.
Q Furniture excludes all other warranties, conditions, terms, representations and undertakings whether express or implied.
RETURNS POLICY
Return is accepted for defective products only. Return due to change of mind is not accepted. Notice of intention to return must be received by the seller within 30 days from the date of delivery. The Seller will advise best method of return. Goods returned without authorisation will incur freight charge. The Buyer is deemed to have agreed to the condition of the goods as is after 30 days from the date of delivery.
