What's inside?
Inside the growkit you have living, breathing, Winter White Oyster Mushroom mycelium growing on specially prepared sawdust media. These were prepared on our family-owned mushroom farm using expertise we gained after years of perfecting this art. It is from the spider-web like mycelium that the mushrooms we love to eat are produced.

Step By Step Instructions

• First, open the box and cut an X in the bag as indicated. Keep your grow kit in a safe place out of direct sunlight, ideally with temperatures ranging from 6°C to 22°C. Mist the cut 1-3 times a day ensuring there is plenty of moisture.

• After some time you will begin to see small dense clumps of mycelium developing at the cut. This is where it gets fun! These little clumps will slowly inflate over 7-14 days into full-sized mushrooms.
  
  

• You want to harvest right before the margin of the mushroom cap begins unfurling toward the sky and the mushroom becomes trumpet-shaped. If you wait a little too long, there’s no harm done! The mushrooms are still delicious. Over the next two months, you can expect another 2-3 flushes if the conditions allow!
