Smarter than you think, easier than you expect!

This little Japanese game doesn’t fit into any single category. You don’t realize how rich The Number is while playing.

The Number is an expert mix of mechanics: Bluffing, Risk-taking, but also Guessing (a mechanic that involves anticipating your opponent’s next moves and adapting your strategy accordingly). It takes 5 minutes to learn, but you won’t have it all figured out yet!

In each of the five rounds of The Number, which was first released as Suzie-Q (スージィ・Q), players choose and write a three-digit number on their secret sheet, hoping to score points based on the numbers that other players have written.

At the start of each round, you write a three-digit number using the digits 0-9, repeating numbers as you wish, but not using any number that you've Xed in a previous round. Everyone reveals their number at the same time, then you arrange them in order from high to low.

Starting with the highest number, you check to see whether any of the digits in that three-digit number appear in any three-digit number of lower value. If they do, then that player takes back their board and scores nothing; if not, then the player scores points equal to the first digit in that number and places an X through each digit used in their three-digit number. For example, if the highest number were 882, and no one else had included an 8 or a 2 in their number, then the player would score 8 points and X out the 2 and 8 on their board. This player also circles the bonus number for that round, a bonus given only to the player with the highest number who successfully scored points.

You then look at the next highest number, and so on, with the lowest number automatically scoring points equal to its first digit and Xing all of its digits. In the fifth round, players double their score.

After five rounds, players sum the points they earned over the five rounds. To this sum, they add the quantity of digits that they Xed out. Whoever has the highest score wins!

Suzie-Q includes a variant in which numbers are evaluated starting with the smallest number. Whoever has the smallest number automatically scores, then for the player with the next lowest number, they score only if one or more of the digits in their number is used by the player with the smallest number, etc.

SHIPPING DELAYS:
Occasionally due to circumstances outside Gameology’s control, delivery delays may occur.
If you believe there has been an issue with your delivery, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your Shipping Confirmation email, so we can launch an investigation with our couriers on your behalf. To avoid any preventable delays, please ensure you double-check your order details, including your full delivery address, prior to placing your order at checkout.

CHANGE OF MIND:
We will happily provide a refund subject to the following conditions:
• The products being returned are in sealed, unused and re-sellable condition
• Proof of Purchase accompanies the returned product
• The request for return is within 30 days from the date of delivery
• The product is not a Trading Card Game (TCG)
• Any return postage is to be covered by the customer
All returns will be carefully inspected by our staff upon receipt into our warehouse to ensure the above conditions are met, prior to approving an online refund. It is an expectation that our customers advise us of any issues relating to their order prior to returning the product to us for consideration. Any returns deemed non-complaint with the above conditions will consequently not be eligible for a refund, the product will be considered abandoned and we will dispose of it. Please note: we are currently unable to process any exchanges via post.

FAULTY PRODUCTS:
Defective items include (but are not limited to):
• Broken parts
• Missing parts
• Manufacturing inconsistencies
• Damage sustained during delivery
Defective items do not include:
• Products specified as a random assortment of potential items where a specific item was not received
• Products which include cards subject to a random draw, including TCG products.
If you have received an item you believe to be damaged or defective, please contact us, providing photographic evidence of the defect or damage, including the state of packaging, where applicable.
If we determine the product you have received is indeed faulty, you will be entitled to one of the following remedies:
• A replacement of the faulty part (including postage paid by us, where applicable)
• A replacement of the entire faulty product (including postage paid by us, where applicable)
• A full refund of the purchase price for the affected product (including postage, where applicable).
Gameology will always work with you to fully understand the extent of your inquiry and to deliver an appropriate and satisfactory resolution for you.

RECEIVING INCORRECT OR ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS:
In rare cases, you may find you have received an incorrect or additional item in your delivery. If this occurs, please contact us as soon as possible, providing:
• Details of the issue encountered
• Photographic evidence of the products received.
We will assess and work with you to resolve any such issues in a timely and efficient manner.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS OR AMENDMENTS:
After your order has been placed it immediately begins to process through our system to make its way to you as quickly as possible! After this process has begun, it is very difficult to cancel or amend an order.
While we cannot guarantee this is possible, please contact us urgently should you wish to check, including your Order Number/s and specific cancellation/amendment details in your request. Any requests unable to be actioned will be subject to our Change Of Mind return conditions.

RETURN TO SENDER:
If an order is returned to our warehouse due to an error on part of the customer, including (but not limited to):
• Failure to collect from Post Office or Drop Location within courier hold timeframe,
• Providing incorrect or incomplete delivery address at checkout,
• Refusing any applicable customs fees, the order will be refunded and re-stocked into our warehouse inventory, less the standard $10 RTS fee we incur from our couriers as a result.
