The OptiMate 4 Dual Program has two charging programmes: one for direct battery charging and the other for safe and unsupervised charging via a BMW motorcycle's CAN-bus regulated 12V plug. The OptiMate 4 Dual Program performs pre- and post-charging testing and can recover a 'dead-flat' battery from as low as 0.5 Volts.

Features of the CAN-bus programme:
KEY-LESS activation and maintenance are automatic till the charger is disconnected.
Desulphation with a low voltage pulse that is safe.

SAVE: 0.5V low-voltage start + 2-step* desulphation recovery (*1-step low-volt pulse save in CAN-bus mode).

SUITABLE FOR: 12V STD, AGM, and GEL batteries with capacities ranging from 3 to 50Ah.
INPUT: Fully sealed, global (100-240V 50-60Hz), high efficiency (CEC listed).
STYLE: Weatherproof case with wall mounts, 6ft / 180cm AC supply cable and 6ft / 180cm charge cable with SAE connector. Included are a weatherproof battery lead and a normal battery clip pair.
SAFE: There's no danger of overcharging. Electronics in vehicles are completely secure. Sparks have been extinguished. Long-term battery maintenance is safe. If the circuit is shorted or the battery is disconnected, the device will shut off automatically. Limited replacement guarantee of three years.
