Product Name: Sansamp Bass Driver D.I Version 2 Description: The SansAmp Bass Driver DI Version 2 is a versatile device designed for bass players, offering a range of tones from vintage tube sounds to modern slap and distortion effects. It features three outputs: an effected XLR, an effected 1/4", and a parallel uneffected 1/4", allowing for integration with power amps, recording desks, and PA mixers. The controls include Presence for upper harmonic content, Blend to mix direct and SansAmp signals, and an active EQ with 12dB of cut or boost specifically tuned for bass. Version 2 includes enhancements such as a switch to adjust bass frequency for 5- and 6-string basses, added mid-range control, and a frequency adjustment switch. The device employs 100% analog SansAmp Tube Amplifier Emulation technology for the entire signal chain, featuring built-in speaker cabinet simulation. This simulation is designed for a smooth response similar to a multi-miked cabinet setup. The footswitch activates the Tube Amplifier Emulation circuitry, allowing the unit to function as a standard active transparent direct box when disengaged. Sample style settings in the owners manual include Bassman®, SVT®, Kings X, Slap, Reggae, Crimson, and settings for Chapman Stick and Acoustic guitar.
