This is a handy bottle holder MOLLE clip. Simply undo the buckle, wrap the clip around the neck of the bottle and reconnect the buckle. Attach it to your belt or bag strap.
About MOLLE (pronounced 'Molly'): It's an acronym for Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment. It is used to describe the current generation of packs and rucksacks used by a number of NATO forces, in particular the British Army and the United States Army.
The modularity of the system is derived from the use of PALS webbing as rows of heavy duty nylon stitched to the vest to allow the attachment of various MOLLE compatible pouches and accessories.
