When Captain Stentiford arrived in Coonawarra, the single track rail line had only recently been opened in 1887. Today in the heart of Coonawarra the only train station borders one of Brand’s Laira’s most important vineyard blocks. This iconic blend of Cabernet and Shiraz delivers a rich, powerful, dark fruited wine that will reward with careful cellaring for those that can wait.

The palate is soft and round displaying pure dark berry flavours with a hint of mocha and spice from time spent maturing in oak.

This enticing Tullymore Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon features a deep purple colour highlighted by black red tinges. It exhibits lifted aromas of fresh cut violets, black olive tapenade and black bean sauce from its scintillating nose, coupled with subtle cedar characters.

Baileys of Glenrowan was one of the original pioneers of wine production in North-East Victoria and produced its first vintage in 1870. Since this time Baileys has become renowned for consistently producing intensely flavoured rich wines. Baileys of Glenrowan continues to be recognised today as a world-class producer of full flavoured reds and luscious fortified wines. A deep garnet colour that is clear at the rim, this Shiraz offers lifted and floral aromas, abundant with fresh cherry and raspberry fruits, laced by attractive spicy whole bunch notes. This is a medium bodied wine balanced by savoury red fruits, fine tannin and well-integrated toasted French oak. Enjoy now or cellar until 2022.
