Spice Tree Electric Salt & Pepper Mill Set with Ajustable Grind in Copper Finish

After wanting a pair of these for some time I was quite pleased to have found what appeared to be a decent pair at a great price. Upon receiving them I unboxed them and was quite pleased with their nice brass/bronze appearance and set them up with batteries and salty and pepper. Sadly however I’m disappointed in the power of the grinding mechanisms and in fact initially changed the batteries over, even though they where new Duracell alkaline AAs, straight out of the packet, but although they do the job it gives the impression they’re struggling to operate. I have also played with the course settings underneath and put a second lot of new alkaline batteries in them. I can only compare them to a set my parents have had for a while, that weren’t overly expensive but seem to grind both the salt and pepper (I’m using the same s&p) so much easier. I’m not sure whether it’s simply because these were a bit cheaper or whether I need better batteries, but I wouldn’t have thought so. Anyhow, apart from that they look wonderful and do the job but kind of slowly. I have to be honest for the sake of any potential buyers, you might be better off either saving up or simply spending a little more on a better product. As mentioned, they do the job and look great, but could be more powerful.

Love this, but over time the copper outer is coming off, near the bottom of them.

Look nice. Delivered quickly. And they grind salt and pepper well. But, on the pepper mill the light doesn't work.

Best Salt and Pepper Mill Set I ever owned. Beautiful. The battery is not included and this requires 8 AA in total, 4 for each

Feels nice in the hand, works perfectly

Look very stylish. I'm yet to work out how they are adjustable though.
