We recommend storing the freestanding model in an environment protected from the elements such as a garage when not in use to prolong the life of the oven.

Usage Tips & Recommendations
  • Do not build too big of a fire in your pizza oven! Always start with a small fire and gradually add small-medium pieces of firewood so you can get better control over the temperature within the oven. Do not use large pieces of firewood – smaller pieces work best. On your first use, you will most likely be surprised at how hot the oven can get and how little firewood you actually require. We recommend starting with just two small-medium pieces of firewood (once the kindling has been lit) and then adding to the fire as required. Having a fire that is too big can lead to temperatures well over 500 deg C. This will damage your pizza oven as the excessive amounts of heat can leave burn marks on the front of the pizza oven and potentially warp the inner chamber.
  • Once you have got the pizza oven to the desired temperature (typically around 350 to 450 deg C, we recommend spreading the coals over the pizza oven floor for about 5 minutes with the stainless steel door open just slightly ajar to provide some oxygen within the chamber. Then use the brush and shovel to move all of the coals into a corner, where you should keep them while cooking. This will help the pizza oven to hold heat for longer and provide a more consistent temperature. Using an infrared thermometer to test the temperature of the bricks in the pizza oven is the best way to know when you are at the perfect temperature.
  • Do not allow water to get into the pizza oven chamber when not in use and only use good quality firewood when cooking. Never burn green or wet firewood and never use treated firewood.
  • Be very careful to not touch any part of the pizza oven when in use, as all parts will be extremely hot and will burn. The pizza oven will hold lots of heat for up to 12 hours after usage so be very careful touching the oven, even the next day.
  • You shouldn’t need to clean the pizza oven after use, as the extreme heat within the chamber will burn away any food spills and fats.

Please note: The Smart Built-in Pizza Oven should not be installed directly on caesar stone, granite or composite bench tops, as this may cause cracking and damage to the benchtop bench due to the amount of heat produced by the Pizza oven. To avoid this please use the provided feet or 20-30mm fire proof packing mounted around the outside edges below the unit, to create space for ventilation while allowing room for the removable tray at the rear.

Faulty or Damaged Product Claims

 

Customers are required to promptly inform Arisit about any damaged or faulty goods upon receiving their product(s) in order to arrange a return. If such notification is delayed, Arisit reserves the right to decline the request for a return, exchange, or refund.

Customers must receive an RA (Return Authority) Form from Arisit prior to returning or organising the return of any stock. Product(s) returned without an RA Form will be rejected.

Customers are responsible for the return of items that can easily be posted or returned back to Arisit. You are entitled to receive a refund for any reasonable return postage or transportation costs if the product is approved for an RA and confirmed as faulty. You must supply a receipt of payment within 14 days of Arisit receiving the stock back in order to receive a refund of any return shipping charges.

Returns are accepted in line with our warranty conditions. Where applicable, Arisit may arrange for a service technician to assess and repair the unit before arranging for the return of a product(s).

Evidence through the form of photos or videos may be required prior to Arisit accepting a return. Arisit reserves the right to refuse the return of any product(s) if it deems there is insufficient evidence to confirm whether a product is damaged, faulty or incorrectly described.

Arisit cannot accept returns for scratches and dents after a product is installed or assembled. It is the customer’s responsibility to identify any damage or imperfections that may be present prior to installing or assembling any product(s).

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all accessories, fittings and packaging are included with the return product(s). In cases where parts are missing, Arisit reserves the right to reduce the full refund amount to the customer.

Any futile attempts to collect returned stock will incur a futile collection fee of $50.00 AUD ex. GST when it has been found that the goods were not packed in a safe manner assisting to prevent additional damage or made available for the carrier to collect.

Arisit will not accept any responsibility for any consequential or indirect loss or damage suffered by you as a result of damaged, faulty or rejected good, including but not limited to loss of profits.

All refunds may take up to 10 business days to be processed from the date of Arisit receiving the stock back.

Customer Returns

Customer returns include any returns that are at no fault or Arisit. This is including but not limited to customer change of mind or a purchasing error through the fault of the customer.

Arisit accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage or fault to product(s) during the return process whether directly by the customer or by the delivery service in transit. Arisit reserves the right to offer a reduced refund in the case of product(s) that incur damage, faults or defects during the return process and were not directly caused by Arisit or its agents.

All product(s) including any packaging, tags, accessories, attachments and fittings purchased from Arisit must be returned in the same condition that they were originally received by the customer.

Customer returns are not eligible for the refund of any shipping charges to the customer. If the product(s) was sent with free postage, a 15% postage fee of the total order amount will be deducted from the refund amount.

Customer returns will incur a 20% restocking fee (maximum fee of $200) to cover processing and handling charges incurred by Arisit.

Arisit reserves the right to refuse customer returns if any of the above criteria is not met or agreed to.
