The replacement of the industry's most popular modulator,HD-1603, accepts a 4K signal and will loop-through that samesignal, however modulated signal is still limited to 1080P, due to the limitations with TV tuners.

We have been testing the new Q4K-R1 for months now, whilethe Q4K-R1 is not the first 4K modulator on the market, it'sthe first stable 4K modulator. Like the HD1603, the Q4K-R1 supports Resi-linx IR targets and emitters. Resi-linx are the market leader in both IR and modulation and the only brand to have Foxtel approved product in both fields.

I've connected the modulator to the system and lost myfree to air (FTA) TV reception. What should I do?

The difference in FTA signal and the Modulator output can have a detrimental effect on your FTA reception. You canattenuate the signal using the blue and white dial at the back of the modulator. In rare cases, this may not fully fixthe issue. In this case, we can send you (free of charge) anattenuator that screws on to the RF output of the modulator.If you would like to know more, feel free to call digi-MOD 0448.100.429.
