This is a Japanese variety producing long white stems. Good heat and disease resistance. *Note in Australia these are often referred to as shallots but they aren't 'true' shallots and aren't eschalots, they can be used as spring onions or scallions.

Sowing time - Spring - Autumn cool regions, Au-Sp in hot areas.

Prefer sunny position, sow 12mm deep, emerge 12-16 days

Harvest in approx 8-12 weeks after sowing
