Santini SPCV02 Washable/Re-Usable Filter Mask White

These Santini face masks consist of two layers of 100% polyester fabric which enclose 4 layers of 100% TNT Polypropylene obtained with Spunbond and MeltBlown technology, creating a barrier to fluids and particles.

The outer layers of the mask have been treated with HeiQ Viroblock NPJ03 antiviral treatment.

Viroblock is an antimicrobial textile treatment proven effective against human Coronavirus in mask tests, significantly increasing the reduction of viral infectivity of the fabric in a few minutes. (Antiviral efficacy test: ISO 18184). It is tested to last at least 30 washes.

The Story of the New Re-Usable Face Maks From Santini Headquarters in Italy

Earlier in 2019, Italy was hit hard by the pandemic, our factory which is based in Bergamo was one of the worst hit cities in the World. People were desperate because it was impossible to find protective face masks, so we decided to do something to help. Working closely with another company in our hometown, Sitip who specialise in waterproof and breathable fabrics, from here we developed a prototype.

“We started to create face masks since the beginning of this emergency because we wanted to help our Country” – explained Paola Santini, Marketing Manager at Santini Cycling Wear – “We did some prototypes, and one of them passed all the tests for the certification as surgical single-use face mask. We also wanted to create a mask for the public which can be re-used and washed, so we launched the Barrier Mask SPCV02. In that way, we want to offer a mask which can be reused many times without losing its protective features.”

The decision was made to halt all manufacturing of cycling wear and immediately converted the production department to produce reusable face masks. Our staff worked for over a month, producing over 10,000 masks a day.

Firstly, they were distributed to doctors and nurses in hospitals, then to Italian citizens and now we are proud to be able to help Australian's in their time of need. Australian's will now have the opportunity to order our washable Face Masks through many local bicycle retailers.

Australian Shipping Delivery Times:

Customers will be notified via email or phone with a revised dispatch date for any items that have not been dispatched within 2 working days of order receipt.

Standard Shipping Charges:

Order Value Capital Cities, Close Regional & Rural/Remote > $100.00 FREE* < $100.00 $10 *Excludes bulky items (i.e. bikes, frames, wheels etc) with a dimension greater than 105cm and/or heavier than 5kg. Such items are shipped by Direct Freight Express and incur higher freight charges due to their size and weight. Bulky Shipping Charges:

Shipping Damage:

Before signing for a damaged delivery please check the condition of the goods. If you are in any doubt about their condition, then please do not sign for it "in good order and condition". Simply reject the delivery and we will send you a replacement.

WHAT Can Be Returned?

Items purchased online may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase, subject to the following conditions:

Item is unused with the original tags still attached
Item is in original packaging and undamaged

At the time of return request, we may ask for photos to be emailed to verify condition of goods.

Please contact us with your order number and the reason you want to return or exchange. Only once we have issued a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number you will be able to process your return.

WHEN Do Items Need To Be Returned By?
Items will need to returned within 30-days of online purchase (according to date of invoice).

HOW Do I Return Items?
Customers will need to return items at their own cost using a reputable courier company (i.e. Australia Post) in cases where they have changed their mind. Before returning item, you will need to be issued with a RMA# (return merchandise authorisation number). To obtain an RMA, please email us outlining reason for return request.

In cases where a return is required due to an error or mistake on our part, a RMA (return merchandise authorisation) number will be issued together with a pre-paid postage label to affix to the package. In such instances, the customer is still required to obtain an RMA# before sending return. Again, please email us to get your RMA# issued.

SHIPPING Charges For Returns
Original shipping charges are refundable in cases where the refund/exchange is due to an error on our part (i.e. wrong size/colour etc). In cases where the customer has changed their mind they are obliged to pay for return shipping charges.

CREDIT For Returns
At the time of issuing RMA#, we will confirm if customer will be credited for returned item and the method by which the customer will be refunded (i.e. PayPal, Mastercard/Visa, EFT etc). Our preference is to refund the customer using the same method by which they paid.

Packing Materials
All items need to be packaged using best possible care to ensure minimal risk of damage during transport. Items heavier that 1kg need to be packaged in a cardboard outer. The customer accepts liability for damages that may occur to item during transit.
