Product Name: Rotosound SB12 Super Bronze Phosphor Bronze 12-54 Description: The Rotosound SB12 Super Bronze set features acoustic phosphor bronze strings with a gauge of 12-54. This set is designed with 92/8 phosphor bronze windings, providing excellent sustain and presence. The strings are crafted using a piano string contact core design, a method pioneered by Rotosound's founder, James How. This design has been popular since its introduction in the 1970s and has garnered a loyal following among musicians. The strings are characterized by their bright, well-balanced sound with a rich tone. The set includes wound strings, denoted as 'w'. Rotosound also produces guitar strings in a unique design where the wrap wire stops short of the ball end, exposing a section of the core wire for direct contact with the saddle. This alternative string type is referred to as 'Country Gold'. Gauge specifications for the strings are as follows: 060 to 018 for the covered strings and 026 to 008 for the plain strings.
