These are a very affordable and effective incubator.
They hold humidity well, the eggs hatch together and are healthy hatchlings. There is no problem with overheating of eggs in these units, as this has an ability to cool and warm effectively.
With the hot climate here in Australia.
The "cook only" incubators i foumd to be ineffective, as the room they are in goes above 33°C during summer months if i am not using air-conditioning in the house some days
and heat will kill the reptile ehgs if above critical temperature) 33°C, maintaining the correct temperature on shelf Is very important. This unit is very effective at this because has cooling and heating.
A bonus with the incubator is the top shelf is slightly hotter than the bottom shelf, good if both male and or female offspring are required.
Perfect for a breeding programs for Reptile Enthusiastss. The temperature will determin the sex of the animals growing.
Can safely transport young reptiles. Handy with balanced carry handle and 12v DC function and cord. This is great so young animals are comfortable and safe on long journeys in temperature extremes.

Bright light up display is different than the older units I purchased from another supplier. This one comes with a very detailed information brochure. It was missing from my previous supplier. Some of the information in there was very mportant, such as the temperature increments inside these units being 1° per shelf. The cooling function is very important in hot climates to avoid temperature increases inside the heat only incubator units. Compact, light. Very easy to use. Automatically switches from heating to cooling. The water channels are good for humidity control.
I highly recommended this for incubating reptile eggs.
I have a unit almost exactly the same, but its less light emitting and the buttons only light up when the lights turned on.
