For one of the best queen excluders you can get, this genuine stainless-steel (not galvanised steel) queen excluder is available at Buzzbee. It's currently available for 10 Frame Langstroth/Australian beehives. The gaps in the excluder are designed to allow the worker bees through to the honey supers but not the larger sized queen or drones.

Using a queen excluder can be a helpful way to stop the queen accessing the honey supers and laying new eggs within the honey comb. This effectively separates the brood breeding zone to the honey storage area making it easier for harvesting at a later stage.

If the queen lays eggs in the honey supers it can be difficult to harvest clean honey and prevent the killing of unborn bees.

Most products come with a 30 day change of mind policy. If at any time within the first 30 days from purchase date you are not completely satisfied with your order, please contact us for return approval. Once received, inspected and agreed, we will facilitate an agreed resolution.

Please note we accept returns under the following conditions:

Postage is paid by the customer
Please contact us to arrange for delivery details within 7 days of receipt to request your closest return shipping address.
The product must be returned in the original packaging, accessories included.
We may accept returns of item however must be in good condition, as new and is not used, worn, or opened and has all original packaging and tags in-tact (including any package seals (if any) being unbroken). In addition, the product needs to be in a resalable condition and not damaged in any way; and returned within 30 days of delivery with receipt or proof of purchase. You must arrange and pay for the items to be returned to us within 30 days of receipt.
We do not accept responsibility for return items until they reach our warehouse, so we strongly recommend using tracking and/or insurance for the delivery.
Original receipt is required.
In most cases a restocking fee of 25% will be charged. We cannot accept returns on hazardous materials.
Please note a change of mind returns are not accepted for any beekeeping hardware, pollen, beeswax, and honey-based products due to Australian Bio-hazards reasons.

Warranty Claims:

Most of our products are supported by a 12-month warranty. This warranty covers all manufacturer faults with the product. Some of our products may have a different warranty period, please check the product description for this. Should an issue arise with your order, please contact us to raise a warranty claim.
