How to use Peppermint Oil to repel pest

Pure Peppermint oil is a natural pest repellent to deter rats, mice, spiders, ants and snakes.??

  • To keep both insect and animal pests away, apply 5-7 drops to each cotton ball and place in various locations around the house.
  • You can also make a pest-repellent spray. Combine two teaspoons of peppermint oil with one cup of water and then add a few drops of dish detergent to help the ingredients mix better. Shake it all together in a spray bottle and apply the mixture any place that you have or suspect you have mice. Reapply the spray as the scent fades, usually after about two weeks.

  • Awesome smell for the home and it seemed to work on fixing my mouse infestation I havnt seen any signs of the little rodents for days now , I did find one dead one under my couch though , did the oil do that , kill the mouse ? I thought it just made them move on to some where else not kill them , but maybe my dog gave it a heart attack ??
