It is not a product every pool owner would want however its application in my circumstances is in demand and the timely supply of the item to me and its condition made it a very satisfactory choice to overcome the leaf management problems I have.

Have a vacum basec "pool cleaner" that runs off the skimmmer suction intake, so always have leaves etc on the surface. I Installed the poolskim as the sole surface based cleaner. Its been running now for 4 weeks in sync with the vacum and by all accounts it is and its been 4 very effective... cleanest the pool has ever been. Installation wasn't as easy as expected. My return was obviously deeper than most, so had to rig up an extension pvc pipe section to the standard piece that comes with the poolskim. It's extremely important to have the level of the intake correct for effective performance. Given the price of this, I am extremely happy with it. I was considering a much more expensive polaris set up... but I really can't see how it could produce anything significantly better than my existing poolcleaner and the poolskim combo.
