Pokedex Entry #025:
Pikachu - The mouse pokemon. This pokemon has electricity-storing pouches on its cheeks. These appear to become electrically charged during the night while Pikachu sleeps. It occasionally discharges electricity when it is dozy after waking up. Pikachu can help other Pikachu who are feeling weak by sharing its electric current. Pikachu's tail is sometimes struck by lightning as it raises it to check its surroundings. When several of these Pokemon gather, their electricity could build up and cause lightning storms. Forest dwellers, they are few in number and exceptionally rare. The pouches in their cheeks discharge electricity at their opponents. Pikachu are believed to be highly intelligent.
Pokedex Entry #132:
Ditto, the transform pokemon. Ditto has the ability to reconstruct its entire cellular structure into whatever it sees and assume any form. Its only attack is Transform. While it can transform into anything, each Ditto apparently has its own strengths and weaknesses when it comes to transformations. If the thing it's transforming into isn't right in front of it, Ditto relies on its memory - so sometimes it fails. The quality of the duplicate depends on the individual. If made to laugh, it can't maintain its disguise. With its astonishing capacity for metamorphosis, it can get along with anything. However, it does not get along well with its fellow Ditto. It can also use its transform ability as a defense mechanism - when it sleeps, it changes into a stone to avoid being attacked.
