Introducing an amazing Nutgrass Herbicide. Nutgrass is a common weed found in nearly every suburban home's lawn. It is a perennial rapidly spreading grass-like sedge with a flat tapered, slightly corrugated leaves. As displayed in the picture below that has been provided by our supplier Amgrow Australia. The Nut-like tubers found at the base of its roots is where it gets its name from.

What is the product

Sedgehammer herbicide is a water dissoluble granule formulation, used to kill and remove Nutgrass and Mullumbimby couch. The ingredients has been formulated to keep your grass safe and unaffected.

Sedgehammer is safe on following lawn varieties
  • bent grass
  • buffalo
  • couch
  • kikuyu
  • perennial ryegrass
  • OLD Blue couch and
  • Tall fescue
How to use:
  • Apply at a rate of 1.3 g (measuring spoon included) per 10 L of water to treat an area of 100 square metres.
  • Apply in Spring or Summer when the Nutgrass leaf growth is greater than 5 cm, or when Mullumbimby couch leaf growth is greater than 2 cm.
  • To obtain best results, apply when weeds are actively growing. With mature Nutgrass plants or high populations, repeat applications may be required.

Though the product is expensive, it certainly works. There are a lot of products on the market that claim that Nutgrass will be taken care of. We have personally tried and tested this product with proven results.
