The Dark Moon that looms over Evershade Valley has always had a soothing effect on the resident ghosts. Professor E. Gadd, known for his eccentricity, has been studying these friendly spirits. However, when the Dark Moon mysteriously shatters and crashes down into the valley below, the once-friendly ghosts turn hostile. It's up to Luigi to muster up his courage and embark on a mission to restore the shattered moon to its rightful place in the sky before it's too late.
