What is the Optical Eye?

A laser pointing device designed for contour cutting, the Optical Eyes is supported by Vinylmaster Cut Production software. With contour cutting, you cut around designs from printed materials. This allows you to remove the excess medium from the design that is not required and leave only the contour feature around the design. The machine should know how the design is physically and visually outlined on the medium in order to cut the design you require.

With the right design layout, software settings, and Optical Eyes, you can determine the three predetermined reference points with great accuracy to gauge the position and scale of the medium for cutting your required design at a reasonable cost. In fact, you can pinpoint the reference points down to 0.1mm accuracy.

The Series IV K1355 also comes with a one-off double position carriage, authentic KASA Pro Series IV K1355 Vinyl Cutter/Plotter, spare fuse, smooth rear glider rollers, dust cover, stand, COM Serial Port interface cable, CorelDraw USB interface cable, USB Driver CD and user�s manual. Its 4MB RAM memory allows you to store important data. So, there�s really nothing to lose. If you don�t know how to use it or there�s something you cannot understand, you can always refer to the user�s manual.

USB Interface

With its USB connection, the new Series IV K1355Â is compatible with all computers and even Macs with the right software. Its better packing material and fit-and-finish than other machines in the same range and class ensure that you will get a machine in great working condition.

The machine has a maximum plotting speed of 500mm/s, which can be adjusted to 25-500mm/s. Its max cutting force is 500g, but this can still be adjusted. The plotting width is 1355mm and the maximum paper width is 1270mm.
