Tasting Notes
The Derek Victorian Shiraz 2020 x 2
Deep purple to black colour. Intense and vibrant aroma of dark fruit and spice, beautifully varietal with ripe plum and blackberry with well integrated oak and chocolate hints coming through. The palate is fruit driven with dark fruit being the overwhelming hero here while oak and smooth tannins all working in unison. The complexity is derived from some spicy character whilst the finish is backed by a great acid back bone and the tannin structure will ensure the wine continues to drink well over the medium term.- 14%
Noble Vine South Australia Chardonnay 2019 x 2
This wine exhibits a bright yellow colour with a green edge. Ripe tropical fruit, melon and citrus hint of honey. Finishes with a crisp lemon peel freshness, zesty acidity. The palate also shows citrus peel and melon with a rich tropical note. The wine was stored in stainless steel tanks to preserve fruit freshness and flavour. - 13%
1838 Reserve Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre 2019 x 2
The Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre blend combines the bold, clean \"strawberries and cream\" of Grenache with the bold pepper and spice of Shiraz and the earthy depth and soft tannin of Mourvedre. A classic medium bodied blend, vibrant crimson in colour, with a sweet nose and flavours of cherry and dark plum with rounded tannins to follow. - 14%
