Queen Brood Frames: This hive includes an extra layer with 6 brood frames for the queen to lay eggs. A queen excluder is placed above the brood frames, creating a barrier to protect the queen from worker bee disturbances while maintaining hive efficiency.
Safe and Reliable Design: The hive features a screened border between the roof and the hive, preventing bees from escaping while ensuring proper ventilation. Additionally, the roof includes a circular vent to block rainwater while promoting airflow and providing sufficient oxygen for the bees.
Visible Observation Window: Easily monitor honey storage through the side observation window by rotating the wooden snaps and removing the panels. This eliminates the need to open the top cover, saving time and effort.

RETURNS:
- All returns must be approved by Always Direct before the item is sent back. Where appropriate, you will be issued with a return form. The return offer is valid for 14 days from the date of issue.
- If you wish to return an item due to change of mind, a 20% restocking fee may be deducted from the refund amount. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- If goods are delivered faulty or not of acceptable quality (DOA), please contact us strictly within 14 days of receiving the item for Always Direct to approve a return. After the return has been received an inspected, Always Direct will, at their discretion, provide either a refund, replacement or repair dependent on the situation.
- If an item, upon its return is found not to be faulty after thorough inspection, a $50 service fee may be charged, as well as return shipping costs.
WARRANTY:
- After the DOA period has expired, a further warranty period may apply.
- Most Always Direct products come with a 3 month warranty unless specified otherwise on the individual product description.
- If a fault should arise within the warranty period, a replacement will be issued. If the item is no longer available then a full refund will be given.
- Many products are also covered by a manufacturer's warranty in the event of a defect.
