Protecting your television from LTE mobile broadband interference

Australia and New Zealand are about to embark on a communications revolution, which will include possibly the biggest changes to the reception of television services ever.With the switch off of analogue television transmissions completed by late 2013, a substantial part of the existing television spectrum will be reallocated and auctioned off by the government, generating what is now universally referred to as the "digital dividend". To facilitate this, some existing digital channels will need to be reallocated or moved to a differentpart of the spectrum, this is commonly known as restacking. Once this has occurred, the freed up spectrum from the "digital dividend" will be reassigned for other digital services. The most likely use for this spectrum is for high speed mobile broadband applications using 4G or LTE(Long Term Evolution) technology. Using this "digital dividend" for emerging technology is going to provide substantial benefits for the general public. However it willnot be without its challenges for the television reception industry, it is most likely many television installations will experience significant interference to their digital television reception.

The NEW Kingray Edge series of masthead amplifiers hasbeen engineered to provide a future proof solution with switchable LTE/4G filtering to maximise interference rejection.
The Edge series features links allowing the amplifier to be configured to best suit the installation now and in the future.
The range includes both wideband and UHF only models used to amplify the whole UHF band or alternatively by re-positioning the links, all services above 694 MHz are filtered, blocking future LTE transmissions.
In addition to LTE filtering some wideband models in the Edge series include user selectable low band filtering to eliminate all services below 174 MHz.
The Edge series is designed to meet the needs of the television reception industry now and into the future.

Delivery times
We typically dispatch our goods same day or next day. From there, you can expect 2 - 8 business days Australia wide. Most capital cities can expect 1-2 day delivery times.
Any RTS (Return to Sender) orders due to missing or incorrect address information entered by the buyer may incur an additional charge for redelivery.

RETURNS POLICY

To return goods we have delivered to you, please contact us within 30 days from the date you have received the item. A staff member will then assist you with any return or repair. This may include inspecting the goods, arranging for the goods to be sent for repair, or providing you with a replacement.

Incorrectly Ordered/Change Of Mind:

Refunds are not normally provided where you have simply changed your mind or found the goods cheaper elsewhere. However, if goods have been incorrectly ordered, at our discretion, customers may be credited less a restocking fee.

A change of mind return will only be accepted if:

The item is in a brand new, sealed and resaleable condition
We are contacted within 30 days of the item being received
The item is returned to us in a timely manner

Please note: For change of mind returns, the shipping cost and method is the customer's responsibility. We will not compensate any returns that are lost or damaged in transit to us. For some change of mind returns, a restocking fee may apply.

Faulty Items

We recommend you immediately inspect any goods that we deliver to you or that you collect from our store to ensure you are completely satisfied with the goods. If any goods arrive damaged, please contact us as soon as possible. We will arrange to have the damaged goods returned and either arrange for a replacement of the goods or refund. Replacements and refunds of new products that are damaged on delivery or faulty from new requires a proof of purchase of the product and be returned with all original packaging, accessories and/or manuals included. Refunds will be made via the method of payment you used to make your purchase. If we consider the goods to have breached a consumer guarantee, any shipping costs to return the goods to us will be at our cost and compensated.

Repairs

The product must be returned with proof of purchase, it must not be modified or mistreated in any way and it must not have been serviced elsewhere. Goods returned for repair will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time. You may be required to pay labour, assessment and/or freight fees, such as where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident. We may provide you with an approximate fee; this may vary due to reasons beyond our control. In some circumstances, goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.
