Matelec NCG-M32/B - 32mm Nylon Cable Gland - Black

Cable glands are used in the electrical industry to protect cables as they pass through metal or plastic enclosures, walls, cabinets and switchboards. Once installed correctly the gland tightens around the cable making a tight seal to protect against moisture entering the penetration.

Nylon Cable glands are designed to be installed in the following manner - mount the gland through a pre drilled hole, the lock nut will then tighten on the thread making a tight fit on the enclosure or panel. Insert the desired cable through the gland and tighten the gland up around the cable - the seal inside the cover will make a tight snug fit around the cable and protect it and hold it in position.
