This 18x6.x3 centimetre dual-sided whetstone lets you sharpen your commonly-used metal kitchen knives (excluding serrated knives) with professional results.
This traditional sharpening method is so easy to use.
Before use, whetstone needs to be soaked in water until it is saturated, with non-slip base temporarily removed.
When air bubbles stop rising, remove whetstone from water.
Allow to dry thoroughly and then place whetstone in its non-slip base on benchtop or other flat surface with the green side facing up.
Always start sharpening with the coarse grit, using the entire stone to sharpen your knife.
During the sharpening process you can continue to apply water to whetstone.
Starting at the tip of the knife blade, apply a small amount of pressure and move tip back and forth along the course grit at an angle of 15-30.Residue will appear on the blade as you move it up and down the stone.
As the residue builds up, move the blade down towards the hilt of the knife and continue to move it back and forth.
Once this process has been applied to the whole knife, turn whetstone over to the cream side and repeat the process.
Continue until you are satisfied with the sharpness of the knife.
Rinse the whetstone to remove residue build up.
Wash knife in warm soapy water before use.

Orders will be dispatched within 2 business days, however, we may experience slight delays across peak sales periods.

Our warehouse will be closed for order dispatch from December 21st until January 8th. Please order by Tuesday 10th December for the best chance of delivery before Christmas, subject to change as per Australia Post. For any orders place between our closure period, these orders will all be dispatched by Friday January 10th.

Returns Policy

Change of Mind returns

We offer a 30 day returns policy, see below for terms and conditions:

Item must be in an unused, unopened and in saleable condition
Item must be in original, undamaged packaging with all tags attached
Customer is liable for all fees and costs incurred to return the product to our warehouse which must include tracking
A claim must be lodged with us prior to shipping the item and once the item has been received by us, we will process the return

Damaged on arrival/incorrect product

We do our best to ensure the correct item arrives to you safely and undamaged however, on occasion damages can occur in transit.

If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, please contact us as soon as possible and share photos of the packaging and item as this will help us quickly resolve the issue.

Faulty items

Our items come with guarantees in line with Australian Consumer Law, if the problem is major, you are entitled to a replacement or refund. We reserve the right to refuse if the problem has arisen due to the item being misused.

If you believe there is a fault with the item, please contact us as soon as possible and include details and photos/video as this will help us quickly resolve the issue.
