Macropore Filter Media is a synthetic absorbent polymer similar but superior to Seachem's Purigen, which is safe to remove tannins from your aquarium water from driftwood and the like. The other benefit of macropore is that it also filters out nitrogenous waste, making your tank not only look crystal clear but will also reduce your nitrate levels in case your biological filtration is not working to its fullest potential..

Macropore helps complete your Nitrogen Cycle by reducing and removing Nitrate and Nitrate, creating a healthier less stressful environment for your aquatic pets.

Improving your water quality also reduces the need for frequent water changes, which reduces your maintenance time and water bills. Macropore can be "recharged" multiple times making it an affordable supplement to your filtration needs.

Due to the size of the media, you will require a special bag which is not included.

Instructions on how to recharge: Remove and recharge your Macropore by soaking it in a solution of 1 litre of water mixed with 250mls non-iodised salt, for 12 hours. Rinse well before using in your filter again.

We have the right to get the product back to us or we can ask you to send a picture of the product with the power cord cut in half, so that we can supply you a replacement without the need to return the faulty product. We will pay for the return cost. We will issue you an RMA number, please place that on the product ready for return. Please note that we do NOT accept COD deliveries.
