The Orico SATA Laptop Optical Caddy will house a 2.5inch HDD or SSD with a thickness of 7-9.5mm with a maximum capacity of 2TB, supports SATA 3.0, theoretical transfer speeds of up to 6GB/s, and a lightweight dual-switch design with an aluminum housing.

Laptop caddy for optical disk - up to 9.5mm
Does the laptop not start up fast enough? Or do you generally suffer from very long loading times? Then this optical disc caddy is the product you need. By using this caddy you can place a 2.5 inch HDD / SSD with a thickness of 7mm to 9.5mm with a maximum capacity of 2TB. By placing an SSD in the caddy, the start-up will be much faster and there is no need to replace the entire laptop. In addition to speeding up the computer, additional storage space is also created.
SATA 3.0
This caddy from Orico is suitable for SATA I, II, III SSD and HDD disks from 2.5 inch to a thickness of 9.5 mm. SATA 3.0 improves the use of the hard disk, the second storage works faster and you can achieve a theoretical transfer speed of up to 6Gbps.
Dual switch - 4 channels
The optical bay caddy has a dual switch. The independent double switch allows you to switch between four channels, making the product more compatible with different laptops. The double switch is also energy-saving and environmentally friendly.
Aluminum housing
The laptop caddy has an aluminum housing. This not only ensures a luxurious appearance, but there are even more advantages. The caddy is light in weight, there is excellent heat dissipation, the caddy is sturdy and not easy to deform and it prevents scratches (partly due to the oiled surface). In addition to the aluminum housing providing extra security, there is also a silicone closure that provides anti-shock security. The caddy itself can be mounted very precisely by screw mounting. Screws and screwdriver are included.
Compatibility
The caddy can be placed in all laptops with a 9.0mm, 9.2mm, 9.5mm and all-in-one CD / DVD-ROM optical bay. It can accommodate 2.5 inch HDD and SSD disks with a maximum capacity of 2000GB (2TB) and thickness from 7mm to 9.5mm. Note: IDE is not supported.

All items will be shipped within 24-48 business hours upon receipt of payment. In most cases, delivery takes around 1-7 business days, it's highly depended on the efficiency of the shipping carrier. Estimated delivery date is calculated by carrier's system, delivery times may vary, especially during peak periods.

Address Changes: If you enter the incorrect name or shipping details and the item is returned to us, you will be subject to a RTS(return to sender) fee if we are unable to change the details before dispatch, and well as a reshipping fee (dependent on the items weight). We are not responsible for these changes if there is a mistake entered by the buyer. This fee is typically anticipated to be $10.50 for RTS + stander postage for re-shipment, regardless of Sale value

30 DAY MONEY BACK RETURN POLICY

If you are unhappy with your item for whatever reason, simply return it to us for a replacement, or refund.

The item must be returned in its original packaging/condition for change of mind purchases, please note a 20% deduction fee applies to any change of mind returns, minimum $10. The buyer is liable for the return postage. This also applies to orders cancelled when the item has already been dispatched from our warehouse.

Please note we only accept change of mind returns if it is returned in a saleable condition with original packaging. By saleable condition we mean that the item hasn’t been opened with factory sealed, is still in its original packaging and all manuals, packaging and accessories are included. If the item is missing the original packaging, or in the original packaging but damaged, or unsaleable condition, then unfortunately we won't accept this return. All items we sell come with a unique serial number. The serial number of the returned item must match the item we sell.

DOA Warranty Claims Policy
For items Dead on Arrival (DOA), Damaged in Transit, Faulty, or Delivered Incorrectly, please immediately contact our Customer Service team. We will assist you in resolving any concerns by possibly having the product returned in suitable packaging (preferably its original packaging).

Please Note:
A replacement or refund will be issued after the faulty item has been returned to us. Assessment may apply in some circumstances before a refund or replacement can be issued.

Standard Warranty Claims Policy

Items found to be faulty outside of the DOA period will be subject to standard warranty terms. ALL of our products are supported by a minimum 12 month return to base warranty. This warranty covers all manufacturer faults with the product. Please contact the product's manufacturer for troubleshooting first and more details about warranty terms.

Please note:
The customer will be responsible for any return postage costs.
The processing time is generally 2-4 weeks from when we receive the faulty unit.
The Warranty claim may result in a repair, new or refurbished replacement, or refund depending on manufacturer approval.
The customer should provide their invoice number and item's serial number when contacting us.
