Why To Buy
Tasting Notes:
Deep dark red like Tremblor’s blood with purple hues. Ripe raspberries, plums and with a hint of anise and white pepper, with some hints of and a well developed oak flavours. A rich palate with plum and ripe raspberry and complexity derived from cinnamon and dusty oak, with a soft finish and touches of acidity. A vibrant crowd pleaser that is approachable when not in the ring!
Technical Notes:
We picked the fruit in the cool of the night in order to retain the fruits natural acidity and of course the regional flavours and aromatics that the Langhorne Creek region is famous for. The wine was transferred to the winery where it was hand reared with extended time on skins. The wine was crushed into open top fermenters where fermentation was initiated by wild yeasts found on the grape skins. Careful extraction and short post fermentation maceration is followed by pressing. The resultant wine is then transferred into oak where malolactic fermentation is completed before racking and maturation. The wine was aged in oak then select barrels were chosen for the final blend prior to bottling.  A wine that will body slam your tongue!

This wine was a mystery as far as packaging was concerned The Mexican wrestlers theme was different to say the least. Four of my friends did a taste test with me and we are all impressed. I know that some of them will be ordering their own now. No regrets here. A really nice wine.

My husband and son in law both enjoyed the quality of the wine and would recommend it for others to purchase.

Well priced and close to a full-bodied wine. Let it breathe for 30 min and some oak flavours will appear. I love the full-bodied reds & the oak flavours, but usually over $25. Very pleased with this purchase at a fraction of the price.
