PLEASE NOTE: Due to the manufacturing nature of ceramic, size variation (+/-10mm) is expected, due to the 1200°C kiln vitrification process.
We deliver to all addresses Australia-wide serviced by Australia Post, Courier Please, Fastway (Excluding PO Boxes). All deliveries are to street level only. We ship all orders using the Australia Post network. Delivery times are typically 3-4 business days to capital cities and 4-5 business days to regional areas. The amount of shipping will be calculated automatically at checkout based on the weight and size of your order. Delivery Timeframe The timeframe of order deliveries vary depending on the items you have ordered. Generally, Area has very fast turnaround time in getting your order ready for collection by transport companies. However due to the COVID, many transport companies have increased orders and reduced processing capacity at the moment. As a result, you may expect longer delivery time during this period. If you have ordered small items only, you can expect your order is processed and dispatched by our warehouse within the next two business day after we have received the full payment. However, if the items you ordered are over weight, bulky, fragile or requiring a pallet packaging, it may require extra time to prepare your order to ensure the package is road worthy or arrange a tailgate truck for pick up. In addition, if you have ordered special ordered items, you may expect longer time as we can only dispatch your order when the items delivered to our warehouse by our suppliers. If you have ordered an item as Pre-Order or made-to-order, the standard time frame will not apply. This can be generally between 2-12 weeks or as agreed. The Estimated Time of Arrive (ETA) on the website is indicative only. It is correct at the time when we have placed the order with the suppliers. However, the ETA can change without prior notice. We apologise that we will not be able to offer a definitive date for all pre ordered item as delays are quite common in international shipping at this stage. Please do not book your installers until you have received the items in good condition on site. The standard delivery time frame is based on the assumption that you have ordered correct items, made full payment, have provided Area a deliverable address and attend the delivery when required. For example, if you have supplied an incorrect address for a bulky item, you will expect a delayed dispatching as our customer service team needs to contact you to confirm a deliverable address. Delivery time will also vary depending on your location, the dispatching centres we use, the size and number of items, and the delivery schedules of the carrier. The estimated delivery times below are based on Carrier’s standards and our observations. This is NOT a delivery time guarantee. In most cases, the average delivery times we observe for small items that do not require being shipped on a pallet are:

Warranty Terms & Conditions
At Area Bathrooms we understand that renovations and new builds can be very stressful so we want to make the process a little bit easier for you with our 30 calendar day returns policy. Our Policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law when applicable. We strive to leave all of our customers satisfied and happy with their purchase!
If your order satisfies our Returns Policy guidelines below, contact our team within 30 Calendar Days of receiving your order to receive a refund or store credit!
Items must be in original packaging and condition (subject to inspection by Area Bathrooms staff). Items that have been used or installed are not eligible for return.
Costs of postage/ freight of delivering or returning the goods (except when the goods are returned as part of our Warranty Terms or any applicable law requires us to pay such costs) are non-refundable, and costs of return postage are to be incurred by the customer.
Custom made/cut products are non-refundable.
Returns under the Policy must be supported by proof of purchase.
All returns requested under the Policy must be made in writing to Area within 30 calendar days of receipt of your goods and all items must be returned to our warehouse within 2 weeks of your request. Otherwise, your right to return the goods under the Policy will lapse.
A 20% repackaging & restocking charges of the original price of that item (Restocking Charge) will be entailed at the expense of the customer. Contact our team to learn more about your order.
If your order satisfies all points within our Returns Policy, we are more than happy to arrange a(n):
Exchange for a stocked item of equivalent value;
Store credit to use within 1 year from the date of issue
Refund via your original payment method
Here at Area Bathrooms, we are extremely confident that the product we design, manufacture, import and supply are of quality standard. We warrant all goods to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, and of acceptable quality and durability for the purpose for which they are designed.
If, on the rare occasions, a product fails to meet these standards, we will replace, repair or refund the goods at no cost to you, as required by the Australian Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and any applicable state laws. Please notify you as soon as possible of any damage on delivery concerns, but that each case will be assessed on an individual basis:
The goods are faulty;
The goods are wrongly described
The goods do not do what they are supposed to do
Please read this Warranty Policy carefully to ensure that you are fully aware of your rights and our obligations to you when seeking to claim under a warranty or receive a refund or replacement for products purchased from Area Bathrooms website.
By completing and submitting an order to purchase via our website, you acknowledge that you accept and agree to be bound by the Warranty Policy terms, which together with the associated Terms and Conditions of this website is an agreement between Ares and you. Any variation to the Warranty Policy must be in writing and signed by an authorised representative of Ares.
Unless otherwise specified in individual products by the vendors, Area will offer the following warranties and their ensuing conditions:
All warranty from date of purchase. For tapware whose vendor are Ares, the tapware cartridges are covered by a fifteen (15) year replacement of parts of complete product from a date of purchase.
Due to the manufacturer's conditions, the warranty on flexible hoses, cistern mechanisms, transformers and soft close seats is 12 months parts from date of purchase.
All vitreous china products are covered by a five (5) year replacement from date of purchase
Stainless Steel sinks are covered by a five (5) year warranty from the date of purchase.
Pull out systems are covered by a five (5) year warranty from the date of purchase.
Vanity cabinet are covered by a five (5) year warranty from the date of purchase.
We will repair or replace free of charge any faulty product due to defects in materials or workmanship within the warranty period. We, or our nominated agency, reserve the right to assess, repair, replace or service any warranty claims as we see fit.
Unless otherwise specified in individual products by the vendors, Ares will offer the following warranties and their ensuing conditions:
All Arestapware, bathroom fittings and sanitaryware are covered by a three (3) year warranty from practical completion. Tapware cartridges are covered by a three (3) year parts warranty.
Due to the manufacturer's conditions, the warranty on flexible hoses, cistern mechanisms, transformers and soft close seats is 12 months parts and labour from practical completion.
All vitreous china products are covered by a five (5) year replacement from practical completion.
Stainless Steel sinks are covered by a three (3) year warranty from practical completion.
Pull out systems are covered by a three (3) year warranty from practical completion.
Vanity cabinet are covered by a two (2) years warranty from practical completion.
We will repair or replace free of charge any faulty product due to defects in materials or workmanship within the warranty period. We, or our nominated agency, reserve the right to assess, repair, replace or service any warranty claims as we see fit.
