With two in-built tuners, the 2Tune PVR can record two programs from one network, and record another two from another network (total 4 programs at once) all while watching back a recording or live TV / stream one live channel to your mobile device.
Users can plan their recordings through the standard EPG (from TV stations) or ICETV with subscription where you also record an entire TV series and repeat recordings. (smart series and advanced recording features require subscription with ICETV)
There’s also the option of padding the time for those show you think will go over the scheduled ending time.

The Humax PVR is also ICE TV enabled:
IceTV’s Intelligent recording software and program discovery tools help you find good TV shows you may have never thought of, and our smart recording features ensure you won’t miss them. (ICE TV requires subscription)
Features such as keyword alerts, keyword recording and smart series recording help you manage your recordings with a tap of an app.
Recordings are stored on the built-in 1TB hard drive.
This Humax PVR connectivity also opens up a number of other of viewing and recording options.
With HbbTV 1.5, viewers can access all of the available catch-up TV services.
A home screen, reachable via a dedicated remote button, offers quick access to live TV, TV guide, Recordings, Media Center, and more.
With the included USB W LAN WiFi stick, you can access built in apps, stream videos, photos, and music from your smart device to your TV and control them using the remote.
And the Media Player App gives users access to their recordings on their device as well as content from other DLNA devices on your home network. (Phone must be connected to same network as the PVR / Media Player for App control)
